By accessing or using the WhatShouldICharge platform ("Service"), operated by WhatShouldICharge ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
WhatShouldICharge provides an AI-assisted junk removal pricing estimation tool. The Service analyzes photographs uploaded by users to generate approximate price ranges, cubic yard estimates, and item identification for junk removal jobs. The Service is intended to be used as an estimation tool only and does not constitute a binding quote, contract, or guarantee of pricing.
All estimates generated by the Service are approximate and for informational purposes only. Estimates cover only the items visible in the uploaded photographs. Any additional items not shown in the photos that are present at the job site will be priced at the service provider's standard rates upon arrival. Actual pricing may vary based on factors not visible in photographs, including but not limited to: item weight, accessibility, hazardous materials, local disposal fees, labor conditions, and on-site assessment. Neither WhatShouldICharge nor the junk removal company providing the estimate is bound by the AI-generated price range. Final pricing is determined by the junk removal service provider at the time of service.
Recycling fees apply to items containing freon (including refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units), tires, televisions, and certain electronics. These fees are separate from the estimated price range and will be confirmed by the service provider at the time of pickup. The AI estimate will flag known special-disposal items when detected, but the service provider reserves the right to assess additional fees for items requiring special handling or disposal.
The AI-assisted analysis relies on visual interpretation of photographs and a reference library of item dimensions. Results may be inaccurate due to photo quality, lighting, obstructed views, camera angles, items hidden from view, or AI limitations. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any estimate. Users should treat estimates as a starting point for pricing conversations and not as a definitive price.
The Service is currently in beta. As beta software, the Service may contain errors, bugs, or inaccuracies that could affect estimate results. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept that estimates may be incorrect and that WhatShouldICharge and any associated junk removal service providers are not liable for any differences between estimated and actual pricing. We are continuously improving the accuracy of the Service but make no guarantees during the beta period.
Business users ("Users") may create accounts to access the Service. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your login credentials. Estimates are purchased via credit packs and billed one-time through Stripe — there are no recurring subscriptions, monthly charges, or contracts. Credits never expire and are available in your account until used. Refunds are not provided for purchased credits.
When end customers ("Customers") submit photos and contact information through the Service, they consent to the processing of their data for the purpose of generating an estimate. Users are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent from their customers to submit photos and personal information through the Service. Customer contact information (name, email, phone) is collected to facilitate communication between the Customer and the junk removal service provider.
By uploading photos to the Service, you represent that you have the right to share those images. Photos are processed by AI for the sole purpose of generating estimates. We do not sell or share uploaded photos with third parties. Photos may be temporarily stored for processing and are subject to our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhatShouldICharge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: lost revenue from inaccurate estimates, customer disputes over pricing, or reliance on AI-generated data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WhatShouldICharge from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between you and your customers regarding pricing or estimates generated through the platform.
